This retreat is an adorably chic bungalow that sits at eye level with the tree line. Recharge by the pool while getting lost in the sound of the rustle of the leaves, enjoy the breeze while walking on the trail just a few steps away, or stargaze and hang out by the firepit with friends. Ophelia's Treehouse is an amazing space for a relaxing staycation, a romantic anniversary celebration, a fun family weekend, or even a guy's or gal's night out!

Location

Located near the intersection of Hwy 258 and Ridge Rd on the outskirts of Jacksonville, NC 28540, Ophelia's Treehouse is in a central location to reach a wide spread of desired locales. Reach Camp Lejeune and downtown Jacksonville in 15 minutes, OAJ airport in 19 minutes, nearest local beaches in 30 minutes, Wilmington's downtown historic district in 60 minutes, and ILM airport in 60 minutes.

Space and Amenities

This 1 bedroom/1 bathroom features a very comfortable memory foam king-size mattress in the master, a twin-size memory foam pull-out sofa bed in the living room, an inflatable queen mattress for any overflow guests you may have, and a pack n' play with changing station for our tiniest of guests as well as a bassinet. Enjoy your shower with a well-pressured removable shower head while using the Organix brand shampoo and conditioner that has been provided. The television is a fire TV and has multiple free applications that have already been programmed for your convenience; such as Tubi, Freevee, and PlutoTV. An electric griddle to create a delicious outdoor meal is available for use upon request. While the kitchen does not have an oven, you can an enjoy a savory home-cooked meal using the built-in cooktop, the brand new cookware, and wide variety of cooking utensils. Sip on your morning smoothie or afternoon coffee by using the blender or coffee machine; the coffee and filters are provided to enhance your comfort. 

 

Ophelia's Treehouse is a quaint guest house on a property with a separate residence. The backyard is exclusively for Ophelia's Treehouse's guests.

Laundry and Gym

The laundry room and gym are located in the garage below the unit. They are both available to use upon request between the hours of 9 a.m. and 8 p.m. Just let us know when you need it!

Pool

Enjoy this refreshing saltwater pool during the hot summer days or simply relax in the lounge chair and bask in the quiet. The pool is available for use upon request between the hours of 10 am - 4 pm, if you need a different time just let us know. The pool closes for the coldest winter months, usually from November to March. Due to the pool's liner, no use of glass bottles or glass containers may be used when within the fenced area of the pool. 

 

Pets

Furry friends are more than welcome however aggressive dog breeds unfortunately cannot be accommodated. At this time, cats are only permitted via direct inquiry and additional fees may apply.
